As the Historic Preservation Project Manager, you will be leading and overseeing historic preservation projects that honor, protect, and restore our cultural heritage.

You will oversee preparation of historic documentation, including conditions assessments, preservation plans, and scope narratives. Supervise production of building scanning .
Guide design teams to ensure compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation, as well as other State and/or Local historic preservation requirement as applicable to specific projects.
Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor on preservation strategy including support for grant-funded projects, tax credit coordination, or phased funding strategies. Carefully review with the President of the company.

• Coordinate with ACHP, SHPO, local Historic Preservation Boards, planning departments, and multiple review agencies to ensure compliance and successful project approval.

Additionally, oversee the development of historic documentation—including conditions assessments, preservation plans, and scope narratives—while supervising building scanning and related technical evaluations.

Oversee the preparation of comprehensive historic documentation, including detailed conditions assessments, preservation plans, scope narratives, and coordination of building scanning and related digital documentation efforts.
Lead and guide design teams to ensure full compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation, as well as applicable state and local preservation requirements relevant to each project.
Cultivate and manage strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor on preservation strategy, including grant‑funded initiatives, tax credit coordination, phased‑funding approaches, and other long‑term planning efforts. All client‑related strategies and communications will be reviewed in collaboration with the President of the firm.

Historic Preservation- Project Manager with Architecture Degree

Required Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation from an NCARB‑accredited program, with 10+ years of experience in architecture focused on historic preservation, renovation, and adaptive reuse.
Proven ability to work with SHPO, Historic Preservation Boards, and planning agencies, with strong knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards, Florida Building Codes, permitting, and historic Florida construction methods and materials.
Experience managing projects involving National Register properties and locally designated structures. Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and team collaboration skills.
Ability to hand‑sketch concepts is a plus. Professional Architecture License preferred.
Required Tech Skills:
3D Software: REVIT experience required.
2D Software: Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Microsoft Office
