As the Engineering Manager, you will build out technology strategies towards integrating Warehouse Management cloud software services with their partners and manage a team of experienced engineers in that process. All the applications are hosted on Azure and AWS. Therefore, having general knowledge of these platforms will help troubleshoot, design systems, and understand how the applications deal with scaling, availability, and reliability. As part of strategic initiatives, they will leverage Azure or AWS-managed services to enhance their applications.
Overview
This role will focus on several critical aspects of the organization, such as helping to drive integration projects, create clear integration interfaces, help to design, and provide tools for simplifying integration, scalability. In this role, you will gain a strong understanding of their products and become a technical expert.
Focus
The Engineering Manager will report to the Director of Technology and work with a team of engineers, supported by a Project Manager and QA manager, to follow up on and complete the client integration projects technical evaluation, planning, design, architecture., and implementation.
Daily Responsibilities
Help understand the requirements for Client Integrations and assist in planning client integration projects
Provide senior level analysis, architecture, design, and development skills
Function as Senior Technical resource and work with minimal supervision and guarantee the technical delivery of all work you and your team are directly involved in
+Drive the team towards designing a system that can support and simplify integrations: Rest APIs, event-based messaging, configuring, and dashboards

10+ years of Software Engineering Experience and/or 3+ years of managing a team of software developers
Experience with system integrations and the challenges that come with it. Message-based integration is a plus
