As the Investment Analyst CFA , you will provide research coverage and support for asset managers using a distribution channel for their strategies. The candidate needs to have a passion for strategy research and the asset management space and general knowledge about the financial services and investment technology industry.
The Investment Analyst CFA will receive detailed training on how the platform works and how our client works with their financial advisors and asset managers. You will mainly work with the Research and Manager Solutions teams, but will also work with the client success, marketing, and compliance teams - and expand their manager research presence as well as generate content on those managers and their strategies.
Overview
In addition to providing research and creating content covering the asset managers on the platform, the Investment Analyst will support the OCIO services and strategies and assist in maintaining Select List publications. They will also work closely with the Manager Solutions Team to deepen existing relationships with asset managers on the platform.
Focus
• Conduct research on the asset managers and their strategies on the platform
• Develop relationships with both asset managers and financial advisors
• Generate content covering strategies on the platform that will educate financial advisors
• Enhance and make improvements to the firm’s existing internal documentation and processes
• Work with the OCIO to maintain a Select List and publish updates every quarter
• Assist with managing OCIO strategies on the platform
Daily Responsibilities
On a daily basis the individual will receive detailed training on how the platform works and how SMArtX works with financial advisors and asset managers.
You will mainly work with the Research and Manager Solutions teams, but will also work with the client success, marketing, and compliance teams.

Bachelor’s Degree
Certified Financial Analyst is a MUST
5+ years of experience in a previous investment analyst or consulting role
2+ years of experience in a technology or financial services field
Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently and perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong working relationships with other team members across geographic locations
Familiarity working for or with financial technology or financial services companies
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
